Melisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University San Marcos with a Bachelor’s in Sociology. After college, Melisa spent four years consulting for Fortune 500 companies including Roche, Abbott, and GE as an Organizational Development Consultant. In that time, she planned and executed several leadership retreats, company picnics, and all-hands meetings plus led hundreds of new hire orientations & workplace trainings. She was heavily involved in multiple spikes in hiring and firing- planning, forecasting, coordinating, and onboarding over 400 new hires for an online retail fulfillment center’s holiday season and offboarding hundreds of biotech manufacturing workers during a reduction in force.
From there, she launched her own company and consults for small businesses, evolving their organizational procedures. She is a master of productivity, time management, and process improvement. She has a knack for digging deep with leadership teams to find their zone of genius, hone in on their mission & vision, set goals strategically, and discover uniquely differentiating needle movers to increase profitability. She thoroughly enjoys Training development and delivery.
